Love Changes by Eartha Watts Hicks Review

Love Changes followed Mia on a wonderful and exciting journey. At first glance I didn't think I'd enjoy the book. I took a second look at the cover of the book and changed my mind. The design is simple black, red and white with about three pictures of a beautiful black woman. One of the pictures is featured on the spin of the book and though the picture is small it grabbed my attention. The editor did a great job editing the book. I found little to no mistakes. The story was very relateable. I found it very refreshing to read about someone with a normal job, normal life, and a normal family as opposed to reading about dope boys and rich people problems. This book was definitely a refreshing read and I'm looking forward to reading the sequel.

Too Early for Flowers by Kurt Sipolski Review

This books takes you on an amazing journey of a young woman raising a son diagnosed with Polio. This book is one that is sure to make you cry, laugh, and be thankful for the things that we tend to take for granted in life. The writers uses very descriptive words which help to identify with what each character is going through in the book. Though the front cover is quite plain with only a beautiful woman on it this is definitely not a book you would want to judge by the cover. The book features very minimum editing mistakes which do not make the story hard to follow and the typesetting  is just right.

Wounded by Ben Burgess Jr Review

This book was a great read, however I felt like the story drug on. I love when a book has a lot of action. I loved the cover of this book. After reading the synopsis I had judged the book and I wasn't sure if I wanted to read it. I had never read about lesbians. I am so glad that I read this book. I felt the emotions of Sam and Sasha. This was a great read and it lets you know that women can be predators too.

The Hustle by Donisha Derice and Jai Darlene Review

I've had this book for a while and i don't know I didn't read it sooner. Its a very good read. The character development was really great. The plot was not not hard to figure out. Sisters Beau and Belle were night and day but their love for family was the same. I loved the fact that the authors keep me on my toes with the many twist and turns throughout the entire story.  It's a street story with a mix of Christian values. The editing was really good, I don't have to guess what the authors were saying which is always a plus. I read the paperback version and the typesetting is great as well. Now I don't care to much for the cover but the story inside made up for it. I'm excited to see what's going to happen in  "Another Hustle." Well done ladies, you have definitely marked your spot as new authors to watch in 2015.

Unstable Creature by Angel B Review

Sophia couldn't win for losing when it came to love. No matter how hard she tried she never got the love she gave in return. That was the only thing missing ion her life. This is a very good read that teaches you a valuable lesson about who you choose to love. the story kept my attention and the ending caught me by a surprise. The editing and typesetting typesetting were really good, but I didn't to much care for the cover. In my opinion u can tell that the picture of the lady in the chair was photo shopped.
